A Social Activist who curates EXPERIENCES with intention in mind.
I've been hosting or teaching in some form or fashion my whole life. My passion is helping. I consult and support people, companies and organizations to find better intention, diversity and inclusion in their events and overall life. I make it easy to find the right people to make your experience authentic and joyful in celebrating from the standpoint of inclusion. From creating one of my bespoke grazing tables, charcuterie, catering, panel discussions, corporate events, team builders , dance, cooking and cocktail classes, gift and swag bags, or curating dialogue that keeps your event or function lively.
It's my life.
You will see most if it with an intentional focus on social activism. Taking a second to be kind or a moment to be intentional about how you support, we can make change.
My team builders are pretty epic. You will leave inspired to make grassroots change and live life better.
Born in Nashville, Tennessee. Raised in Olathe, Kansas. Yes, we moved when I was two, but Nashville has and will always will be home for me too. I think of it as Iβve heard most kids speak about divorce. Donβt force me to choose. Nashville is summers, every holiday, where my parents were raised, siblings thrived and where my grandparents and loved ones are laid to rest.
Kansas is where I grew up literally. From my time at one of the best and most inclusive school districts of which I was a minority, to not making the dance squad at KU, only to thrive on squad with the Kansas City Chiefs. And the Friendships. So many. The Midwest is truly best. University of Kansas you owe me nothing.
Then here comes Los Angeles. Dreams of being an entertainment journalist, regular on Sesame Street and every where in between. Did it happen? No. Regrets? Not one. Los Angeles is intoxicating, and as a true southern girl, I was ready to slow it down a bit. I was packing up and heading to the South to live out my version of Carrie or Issa in Atlanta with my cousin Sisera.
Iβm a Mom.
and the kind of mom in tune with what I need to be the best Mom I can, which is why The Aisha Life was born. It's their baby sister and she needs a lot of attention. Corporate Hustle, Entrepreneurship, Alone Time, Family, Girl Time, Travel, Music, New People, Adventures and a ridiculous amount of Food, Drinking and Dancing.
I am nothing without the love and support of a huge immediate and extended family. I don't function without Moms Faye, My Daddy, Mama Tarquina, Tomika(TomiCakes), and all the other other family not close but always down for the love, forever missing my heavenly brother Diallo and my two Nashville siblings Steven and Kim, and nieces and nephews that I don't see often enough.
Also gotta have my Crew. You all know who you are. You're probably rolling your eyes at how much I order or how many stops we make to see "one last place".
There is no life without you. This new community has given me so much love and light.
I'm blessed people. Thank you. Now Let's get started!
